Save-in-Safari for GTDTiddlyWiki

This is a small Internet Plug-In for Safari to allow TiddlyWikis to save themselves.

See also the README.txt file.

This plugin has only been tested on Mac OS X Tiger. It should work in Safari 1.3 on Mac OS X Panther 10.3.9, but probably not in earlier versions.

Installation

Download and unzip the plugin file (see below).

Copy TiddlyWikiSaver-r773.plugin into /Library/Internet Plug-Ins.

Save a local copy of empty.html.

Important Quit and restart Safari so it can notice the new plug-in.

Open your local copy of empty.html (see above) in Safari.

When you make a change to a Tiddler, two dialog warning dialog boxes should appear. You can select "Allow For Session".

Hacking the GTD TiddlyWiki into the Dashboard

This is a quick hack to get the GTDTiddlyWiki into the Dashboard in Mac OS X Tiger.

Status

Works, with some behavioural issues.

For more notes see the README.txt file.

Installation

Download and unzip the widget file (see below).

Double click on it to try it out. I don't recommend installing into the Widgets directory at the moment.

If you're familiar with the command line you can look inside the .wdgt bundle for an experimental script (import.rb) to import data from an existing TiddlyWiki.
